Decluttering the Bathroom

1. The Back of the Door

You need to make the most of your space in a small area. This can be done on the back of cabinets or doors in your bathroom. Use slim caddies and magnets to organize your bathroom. Use a pegboard with larger spaces or narrow hooks.

2. Ditch Expired Products

How long has it been since you checked to see if your product had expired? The ingredients of expired products have become less potent. Throw out products that have expired or products that you don’t want anymore.

3. Towels are always handy

There are many clever ways to make space in your closet for all the items you need. Use a wicker hamper to store your bath towels if you don’t have enough space in your closet to do so. This is both stylish and practical!

4. Add More Storage

When it comes to your kitchen, you need to make the most out of the cabinet space. Mounting a rack to the back of your pantry or cabinet door is a great way to add more storage and get organized. Use a rolling rack to organize lower cabinets or small spaces.

5. Organize your spices

When was the most recent time you checked to see if your spices are still good? Spices should be thrown out after four years. You should throw out any spices that you’ve had for more than four years. Sort your spices alphabetically in a spice rack or by the categories you use.

6. Utilize Wall Space

I used to store my pots and saucepans in cabinets. But I soon realized that this was a waste of space. I decided to display them and hang them using S hooks for a Pegboard, or Pot Rack.

7. Use trays and bowls to contain clutter

In bedrooms, small items like watches and jewelry are often collected. Store your small items in trays or bowels around your bedroom to reduce clutter.

8. Hide the Hamper

Under an open bedside, place a decorative-looking hamper basket. This can be used to store laundry or pillows.

9. Make Space Under Your Bed

In the bedroom, closet space is often limited. You can store your clothes or accessories that you don’t wear in vacuum storage bags if you have space under your bed.

10. There Are Too Many Books

Consider leaving 10% of your shelves bare. Donate books to an organization if you want to expand your collection. You can get your books on readers now.

11. Untangle those Cords

It can be a maze in your office with all the cords that are tangled. Install a cable port on a shelf or place your cords into a box. Label cords with washi tape so you can quickly identify where the cord is going.

12. Hang a Shelf

You can maintain your office space with a simple shelf above your desk. If you are working in a small area, a shelf over your desk can be used to store storage baskets or other decor items. This will make your workspace more stylish and attractive.

Decluttering your Living Room

Keep the coffee table clear

It’s tempting, since coffee tables are often the focal point in living rooms. To cover them up with home decor is a great idea. This can create the impression that the room’s cluttered. Keep your coffee table at least 75% free. Choose a table with drawers or shelves to store your essential items.

14. There Are Too Many Pillows

Throw pillows are a great way to add some style and color to your living room. However, going overboard with them can be detrimental. Keep your throw pillows to three in complimentary colors and patterns. At least one pillow should be a solid color.

15. The Right Furniture

Furniture and pieces are key to a clutter-free home. Choose at least one piece that is round, like a coffee or ottoman, which can serve as both a space and a table.
